Happy New Year

We went to a New Year's Eve party this year and took the kids. We didn't stay up until midnight but we were out way past bedtime. Naison had a blast because there were cupcakes, party bags with lots of goodies, and lollipops! I think Naison dreams of things like this because New Year's Day he woke up and was saying cupcake over and over. LOL! My kid loves sweets. It kind of bugs me but sometimes I can bargain with him. Anyways...happy New Year, 2012 is going to be a great year! (There will be at least 1 wedding and at least 4 babies happening this year...not mine of course!)

Beba visits AZ

My aunt Betty, Beba, came for Christmas this year. This was her first Christmas with out Nana so I am glad she came out to be with us and the kiddos. I think having family around is the best thing to take your mind off of the sad things. We certainly missed Nana this year but she was watching down on us having a great time. Love you Nana!!!!
We did lots of things this year while Beba was here. There was a visit to a casino, lots of shopping, various family parties, and lots of loving on her nephews!

We had lots of picture opportunities so here are some Arnold family shots we got. Thanks daddy!

Thanks for coming to visit Beba. We love you so much!
Here are the kids in their pajamas the Beba got them for Christmas.
(please excuse Naison's smile) Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight.

Christmas Day-part 2

After naps we headed to my stepmom's sister Toni's house for Christmas dinner. Thanks to the Bartletts for hosting this year. Nais and Kian enjoyed playing outside with uncle Jake, hanging with aunt Beba, and playing with their doggies. They have 3 little dogs that are just the right size for Nais and Kian.

We opened presents right before dinner because the kids were more than ready...they had waited long enough. Then we ate a yummy dinner and cupcakes for dessert. This year was certainly a great Christmas. I am glad Beba got to come out this year for a visit. The boys got spoiled, I baked A LOT (which I love), and we got to spend a lot of time with family! What more could you ask for. I am feeling really blessed to have the life I have. Thanks and love to all.
Oh, I forgot...Naison has become addicted to candy canes...he will do anything for one...and he kept steeling them off of Toni's tree so we had to move them up high.

Christmas Day-part 1

Vafa was on call this year for Christmas so he didn't get to go anywhere with us. Here he is with the 2 trauma nurses he was on call with. They brought in food so at least he was fed well! Thanks Lisa and Sarah!

The boys and I woke up and headed to my mom's to meet Court and her crew for breakfast. I brought my famous cinnamon rolls and biscuits and mom made all the other stuff for our fabulous Christmas breakfast. I guess all of that food wore Kian out...he passed out in Grandmother's lap.

After breakfast we all opened our gifts. We are all so blessed to have food on the table and presents for our kids to open. Nais had a lot of fun this year opening presents. He got some tools, cars, clothes, books, etc. Kian got lots of good stuff to but he will have more fun next year opening presents.

After presents I loaded up the boys and headed home for naps. We needed our rest for round 2.

Christmas Eve

We went to my dad and Shelley's house this year for Christmas Eve. They had the whole family over for dinner. Beba was here from Arkansas and Nikki and Wes were here from Paris. Shelley made this yummy baked noodle, cheese, meat, and pepperoni thing and Beba made Nana's doritos chicken casserole...both were very tasty! Naison and Kian had fun playing with all the cousins and playing outside...Nais loves to explore everyone's back yard.

As you can see, Naison's smile has become very interesting these days. I guess I shouldn't say smile anymore because that is what you get when you ask. I will have to work on making him laugh for pictures!
