Busy Weekend!

We had a jam packed weekend and oh so much fun! We had the pleasure of having some Texas guests for 1 night to start this fabulous weekend right! Jubilee, her 3 kids, and her sister Rose were road tripping back to TX and stopped in Phoenix for a night. We had a blast and wished they could have stayed longer.

Jubilee and Naison

Our next adventure for the weekend was a baby shower for my friend Melissa Morgan. She is having twins, due in September...a boy and a girl! I saw a lot of old friends I haven't seen in a while...it was a lot of fun.

Our last event for the weekend was our nephew Sean's 3rd birthday party at My Gym. Naison had never been to a place like this and he had so much fun. Thanks Veenur and Farshid for having us at Sean's party!

Coming up....our trip to Boston! Im soooo excited!

Holy cow...we have movement!

Naison learned 2 new tricks this week...pulling up and crawling. I guess my life is going to be changing now. He learned to pull up on the coffee table before he learned to crawl...he even lets go sometimes and stands on his own. He is now pulling up on everything! Once he gets up he loves to bounce around and shake his booty.

So, I put Naison on the floor to show Kirsten that he could not crawl yet and guess what happened?!? He totally crawled...from one end of the carpet to the other!

He is growing so fast. I feel like he's doing something new every day now. I love my little man!

Look what I can do!

These last 2 weeks have been flying by. Naison is learning so much these days. He can finally put his own paci in his own mouth. I am so excited!

Food Videos

Here are 2 videos of Naison eating Persian food for the first time. He has been eating pureed food...but this is real food! The first video he is eating tos kabob and the second one he is eating basmati rice. The faces he makes are so cute and funny!

Cabin Time!

The whole family went up to the cabin for a weekend getaway last weekend. Court and Ryan brought Anthony and Tatum, Vafa and I brought Naison, Ricky Jones, and Max and Mom and Bob came along too. We had so much fun. The weather was so nice and it even rained a little bit.

We went to our favorite breakfast place Saturday morning called HB's.

Then we went to a little park after so the kids could play. Naison had fun on the swing!

Thanks Grams and Papa for taking us to the cabin!!!

9 Month checkup

Our baby is 9 MONTHS OLD!!! I can't believe it. We went to the doctor for his check up and here are the stats: 21.8lbs-70% and 28.5inches-50%. The doctor said he is doing great! He still is not crawling and has no teeth but he said that is totally fine...crawling is not a milestone. Ok...fine with me. I don't want to chase him around yet anyways!

Here he is sitting on the table at the doctor's office. He loves the paper!

Only one issue...he MIGHT have a peanut allergy. One day a few weeks ago he stuck his finger in some peanut butter toast I had and rubbed it on his face. Then he broke out in hives just on his face. They went away after about an hour but the doctor wanted to draw some blood and run a a test to see if he really has an allergy or not. I really hope he does not have a peanut allergy because peanut butter is my favorite food and I would hate for him not to enjoy it too!

This is him after they stuck him in each arm for labs and didn't get enough blood to run the test. I STILL have to take him back tomorrow to draw more blood. Poor baby Naison!

Breakfast with the Bellinos

A couple of weeks ago me, Naison, my mom, my sister, Anthony, and Tatum went to breakfast with some friends...Lynn and Nikki Bellino and Ainsley. We went to yummy Butterfields. We have been friends with them for forever and try to get together as often as possible. I think our moms were pregnant together...that's how long we have known each other!

The adult kids...
