Austin!

The day after we got home from Disneyland we took off to Austin, TX. Naison slept the entire flight...it was soooo nice. We went to visit Victor, Neda, Jubilee, Brian, and the kids. Naison had lots of fun playing with everyone. There were lots of kiddos around so he was pretty much entertained the whole time.

We went to lots of different parks around town.

We did some shopping and of course hit up the play area...and we got a surprise visit from baba Iraj!

Naison was loving playing with the Guequierre kids!

On our last day we hit up the beautiful botanical gardens....

...and had a photo shoot!

Austin is always a great trip and I am sure we will be back soon. I forgot to mention all the amazing food we ate! That is one of the best things about Austin...the food...especially while pregnant!

Disneyland!

My Mom and Bob decided it was time to take Anthony to Disneyland and asked us to come along as well. Vafa couldn't come because of work, but Nais and I went along for the fun. So we set out on a road trip that we made in my new car. It went much better than I expected. Probably because there were so many people to entertain Nais in the back seat. So we had a full ride: Mom, Bob, Court, Anthony, Tatum, Naison, and I, all fit in the Acadia! I love my new car by the way.

There were rides to accommodate all of us while we were there. So, everyone had a lot of fun! Naison loved Toontown, Mom and Bob enjoyed the monorail and train, Anthony, Tatum, and Court could go on everything, and Naison and I enjoyed the Buzz Lightyear ride and the other small ones. The worst part was trying to entertain and keep Naison in the line while we were waiting.

There were lots of snacks to enjoy, the food was pretty good, and not as expensive as I thought it would be. While we waited for the big kids to be done with rides, Naison tried on lots of hats....some he loved and some he did not!

We spent 2 full days at Disneyland and it was just enough time to get everything done that we wanted. We had a fabulous trip! Thanks Mom and Bob!

Arkansas Trip

My sister, Anthony, Naison, my mom, and I went to Arkansas for a visit this past week. My Nana has had lung cancer for a while but we just found out that is has spread to her bones, liver, and spleen. So, we decided it was time for a visit with the kiddos.

Here we are on the airplane ride over.

We did a lot of visiting with Nan and Beba while we were there. I think they really enjoyed the kids being there. Naison and Anthony sure were busy!

Naison even got a ride on Nana's walker and we did a lot of playing outside!

Our trip was great but I do have to report one injury....to Naison's eyebrow. He whacked it on the brick hearth and required a steri-strip to put it back together. Courtney must have some experience in the kid injury department because she immediately went and got a bowl of ice cream and he totally stopped crying and forgot all about the blood and pain. Thanks sissy!

I am so very glad we were able to make it out to see our Nana and Beba. We love you guys and miss you already!

It's A Boy!

We finally got to find out the sex of our second baby and it's going to be a boy! We are both very excited about this. Naison is going to have a little brother to play with. We have not decided on any names yet but we are working on it. I will let you know when we come up with something.

Big Bear Trip!

We went to Big Bear, CA this past weekend for a snowboarding trip with The Sylvias and Shelli. We rented an RV for the trip. It was so nice to have so much room on a road trip. We also had no kids! My mom watched Nais and Kirstens' mom watched KK. It was kind of nice not to be on a schedule, but we missed him and it was great to see him when we got home.

The first day in Big Bear the weather was sooo nice. The sun was shining and the mountain was beautiful. Then, that first night we were there it dumped snow on us so we had lots to snowboard on! As Kirsten says it, "It was a winter wonderland"!

While we were there we did a lot of hanging out, snowboarding, cooking breakfasts and dinners, hot tubbing, and digging cars out of the snow.

Kirsten also helped 2 different sets of people dig their trucks out of the snow. Way to go Kirst! We had so much fun on this trip we might just have to make it a yearly occurrence! Bye, bye Big Bear...we miss you already!

Birthdays and Haircut

My sister and I turned another year older in February. Court's bday is Feb 20th and mine is the 24th so my mom had us over for dinner to celebrate. We even got to blow out candles. Thanks mom for the yummy dinner and cake!

Naison got his 2nd official haircut by my friend Melissa last week. He did great sitting in the chair eating his snacks. I hope he is this good every time. Thanks Melissa for the awesome haircut! Glad to know Nais looks good in pink!
