Yoga baby

Recently Naison has been attempting to crawl but has been unsuccessful so far. He gets himself into these positions and I swear they look like he is doing yoga poses. Here are some pictures.

Busy Weekend!

This past weekend was jam packed and super fun. I started Friday night out by designing and staring to make Anthony's birthday cake. Then Saturday we had a birthday party to attend for our friends Karin and Chris's 1 yr old Tate.
Happy Birthday Tate!

The theme was "ladies and bugs", so Naison has on a bug headband in some of the pictures. The party was so much fun. I saw a lot of friends I have not seen in a long time! Yay for kids and birthdays!

Then on Sunday morning we went to the lake with Kirsten, Tyson, and KK for a half day. I finally got up on a wakeboard! This was my second trip and I was so bummed I didn't get up the first trip. So, I was so excited this trip. Thanks to Vafa, Tyson, and Kirsten for giving me all the tips I needed to be successful!

Then Sunday afternoon we had Anthony's 6th birthday party. He is growing up so fast. The party was at my mom's and we had lots of water fun and activities outside and a luau theme.
Here is the cake! Happy birthday Anthony!

Some family pics...

...and some friend pics!

Overall it was a fabulous weekend despite the heat! Can't wait for it to cool down already.

1st 4th of July

We had a very relaxing 4th of July this year. Shelli G came over and we grilled some chicken and watched some fireworks. They have a big fireworks display across the street from our house in the clubhouse fields. Naison was in bed by the time they went off. So, hopefully next year will be a little more eventful. Oh, and the fireworks were so loud that he wouldn't go to sleep and cried for a while as they were going off. I got a couple of good pics early in the day though.

Father's Day

Ok, so I'm a little behind on the blogging. Here are some pics that my dad took of us to give to Vafa for a Father's day gift. Naison and I made a frame with his footprints on it and put the picture of Naison, the dogs, and me in it. It was so much fun!

This was Vafa's first father's day, so I wanted to do something special. We had a BBQ at our house. Mom, Bob, and Grandmother, Dad, Shell, and Jake, and Court and her family came over. We grilled fillet mignon and chicken of course for me. Dad brought his camera so we got a lot of good family pics. We had a great time hanging out with everyone. Thanks to all the Dad's out there.
