Surprise Surprise!

My wonderful friends had a surprise baby shower for me and my friend Molly a couple of weekends ago! I am due July 23rd and she is due the 27th. It was supposed to be a mom's night out thing and I got there are they had presents, cupcakes, and flowers! It was so much fun! Thanks to all my girls who came. Since it was a surprise, I didn't have my camera, so I only have a couple of pictures but I got some really cute stuff! I love my friends!

Birthday Party Bounce House

We went to a birthday party for two of our friends' kids a couple of weeks ago. The birthday kiddos were Tessa, turning 1, and Braxton, turning 2. There was a bounce house, lots of friends to play with, and of course Naison's favorite...cake! Nais has a history of being scared of bounce houses, so I was hoping he would like it this time. He kind of liked it, but not on the inside. He only liked jumping with his daddy holding his hands on the outside part of the slide. Hopefully he will like them soon!

Of course Naison's favorite party of the party was eating a cupcake and a piece of cake!

Naison's 1st Lake Trip

Last weekend we went to Lake Pleasant with The Sylvias for Naison's very 1st boat trip. KK had been before last year so we thought Nais might do OK this year. He did great! I was so glad. He didn't even mind his life jacket he had to wear the whole time. I guess KK did a good job of showing him how to play on the boat.

The water was still really cold but Vafa decided to jump in anyways. Of course Nais wanted to go in just like his daddy, so he did. Other than that we just did some eating, of course, and some lounging on the boat.

So, I consider the 1st boat trip a success. We all had a great time and Naison was worn out! Thank you Kirst, Ty, and KK for taking us on our 1st family lake adventure. Hope to do it again soon!

Warrior Dash

Last weekend we headed to Florence, AZ with a group of friends for the warrior dash. This is a fun event that consists of a run and multiple obstacles including diving through a mud pit and jumping over fire. I could not participate this year so I just hung out and took pictures. My mom watched Nais so we had no kiddos!
